Increasingly, basic job skills aren’t so basic Article

The article "Increasingly, basic job skills aren’t so basic" interested me because it shows that as the technology gets more high tech the jobs get more competitive . The companies start to look for people who has can offer something that someone doesnt already have . So when im in school i have to work hard and make sure i can posses the skills that will catch an eye of an employer . This article can serve as a lesson to this class because if we get better at using technology and stuff then when i put it on my resume about the stuff we learned to do then or skills i obtained, then it will benefit me in the long run .
Now literacy and fluency relate to this article because you have to be good in both these areas to get a decent job, especially one that is very competitive . Lets say i was applying for a job at Microsoft, i would have to be literate in that area in order to get the job . so i cant have stuff on my resume or want to cook and apply for a spot at Microsoft because its the only job open, they would end up not hiring . Now with fluency, you would have to be fluent when your expressing what you want out of the job and how you would be a good addition to the team .
